    In addition to finding up-to-date information on your local weather, you can also find information on a number of other important weather related topics.  For example, if you like to track the weather from your home, such as the wind direction, wind speed, or rainfall totals, you may want to find helpful weather tracking tips that can help you more accurately track the weather from your home.  These types of websites are ones that are often run by professional meteorologists or long-term weather enthusiasts.  These websites may contain graphs, descriptions, as well as videos.  To find these types of weather related websites, perform a standard internet search.

    Although the internet is one of the easiest ways to research weather and other weather related topics, it is important to remember that it isn’t your only option.  You may also want to turn to the television or documentary videos.  For starters, The Weather Channel was mentioned above.  This national channel often has specials, such as ones that cover the greatest moments in the history of weather, and so forth.  You may be able to learn a lot from these types of programs, which can also be found on other television stations as well.  If you are curious about global warming and the impact that it may have on our environment, you may want rent or buy a documentary covering the subject, such as Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth.
